MOSELECTRO took part in the reconstruction of the Polytechnic Museum

Rosseti Moscow Region provided power supply to the Polytechnic Museum in the Russian capital. To generate 3.3 MW of power, power engineers of Rosseti Moscow Region PJSC built one distribution and two transformer substations with a total capacity of 8,200 kVA, laid 20 cable lines of 10 kV, 6 kV and 0.4 kV with a total length of 8 km.

MOSELEKTRO took an active part in the reconstruction of the Polytechnic Museum, having installed 6 (10) kV switchgear cabinets of K-132 series at the facility.

The Polytechnic Museum, created on the basis of the Polytechnic Exhibition funds of 1872, is one of the largest and oldest scientific and technical museums in the world. Currently, the museum building is closed for renovation, but after its opening, its image and concept will change, and the Polytechnic Museum will become an open platform for scientific discussions, creative experiments, and educational projects. The institution will be able to receive 2 million visitors annually.
